Overview:
The Events Manager is the in-house expert on the strategy, creative, execution and ROI analysis of Vubiquity's event and industry conference presence. A successful candidate will be extremely detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position works closely with all members of the Marketing team as well as stakeholders from across the company.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the annual external and internal events calendar as well as industry conferences; register for events/conferences in a timely manner and track deadlines for all relevant elements
-Interact with all relevant external agencies including booth design and fabrication, creative agency, PR agency, etc.
-Direct all elements of events, including booth, decorations, demos, meeting space scheduling, sales materials and more
-Coordinate internal show attendance including hotel reservations
-Oversee all elements of customer events/parties, including invitations, guest lists and all event details
-Manage budgets, negotiating the best pricing as well reconciling actual expenditures
-Lead all internal event meetings with key stakeholders, including the preparation of the logistic documents
-Gather and provide wrap-up reports from events including key lessons learned for future events as well as ROI
-Continue to raise the impact of Vubiquity's event presence
-Manage company premium item inventory including creative ideation, strategic sourcing, procurement and internal/external deployment
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field required
-Minimum 4 years experience in the event marketing space
-Trade show exhibition experience strongly preferred
-Experience communicating and aligning in a complex environment across multiple constituencies a plus
-Excellent project management skills a must
-Proficient in Microsoft programs e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
-Self-starter, self-directed individual who can take manage project with minimal supervision
-Detail-oriented individual who remains calm under pressure
-Creative thinker
