Overview:
The Director, Strategic Accounts (Verizon) will have the responsibility of managing the operations personnel responsible for delivering all services for Verizon and SLA requirements. The Director will lead the multi-department Verizon Tiger Team and be responsible for coordinating Tiger Team activities consisting of Programming, Marketing and Operations personnel. The Director will be responsible for creating flexible solutions to unique Verizon driven service requests, as well as, identify and encourage new opportunities for revenue sources that the Operations and other departments can support.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, monitor and report all aspects of work being done by the Tiger Team in support of Verizon initiatives. This includes management and execution of all elements contained within the current Service Level Agreement.
- Manage internal and external operational communication and timelines with Verizon
- Single Point of Operational Contact for the Verizon team (internal and external)
- Lead all internal Operational and Tiger Team planning and status meetings
- Develop and maintain a RACI and two-way escalation matrix, which drives Verizon toward an immediate unified response from Vubiquity, as well as informs Verizon of any realized content or service(s) at risk.
- Partners with Vubiquity internal resources to ensure timelines are adhered to in order to deliver product in a timely and reliable manner.
- Develop and maintain content status reporting which tracks media, art and metadata through the package lifecycle.
- Maintains and distributes weekly and monthly performance metrics to Verizon and internal Vubiquity stake holders. Reviews reporting with Verizon with the emphasis on variances from service level agreements as well as actions to mitigate further occurrences.
- Manages internal prioritization and distribution for all New Release and supporting Bonus content.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure that all are efforts and communications are well coordinated and build a strong foundation with Verizon.
- Ensure promotions, schedules, metadata, artwork and content are correctly packaged and quality control procedures are followed
- Manage content inventory and ensure that the required shelf space is maintained
- Create strong and lasting relationships with all management levels and departments within the Verizon team(s) in order to identify new possibilities for growth and opportunity within Verizon.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Help maintain, build new, modify current menu structures and oversee menu structure as needed in support of ongoing requests from Verizon
- Work with new Content Providers by overseeing the entire launch process from start to finish
- Work with System Ops to identify development requirements in order to enhance existing systems and more effectively support Verizon's day-to-day requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree required
- 5-8 years of industry related experience
- Proven 4-5 years management experience
- Detail-oriented
- Proven account management and strong relationships skills
- Ability to problem solve and work through solutions
- Microsoft Office applications ( Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Cable Lab VOD metadata knowledge is a plus
