Purpose of this job:
The Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving Affiliate engagement through development and execution of turnkey marketing tactics, ongoing communication and improvement of best practice presentations. The candidate will work closely with affiliates, internal stakeholders and studios to develop campaigns that create buzz and maximize revenue potential. This position will also play a supporting role for a variety of marketing programs, including analytics and research.
Major Activities to ensure achievement of key results and deliverables:
• Maintain strong relationships with Strategic Affiliates and Studios, requiring recurring status calls, title avails and asset management, problem resolution, etc.
• Create methods and tactics for providing additional and improved support for National Affiliates.
• Work with Marketing Coordinator and Software Development to continually update and improve affiliate marketing website and communications. Analyze web metrics to improve website offering and summarize affiliate activity for Sales.
• Create and maintain checklists and templates for marketing solutions, including but not limited to email marketing, social marketing, radio scripts, cross-channel spots, etc.
• Handle full stunt management, for both TVOD and SVOD content, including stunt themes, title selection, administration, tracking, and reporting to Studios.
• Create annual webinar calendar and topics, including research and presentation development.
• Work with PPV group and external partners to drive maximum exposure for PPV events, ensure accuracy of information and execute live-streaming opportunities.
• Contribute to and help maintain best practice presentations.
• Support Sales with customer marketing/promotional content development.
• Develop strategies for partnership growth. This may include concept generation, execution of promotions and coordination of value-added opportunities.
• Provide support to Sr. Director, Affiliate Marketing for additional special projects as needed, following leadership/direction and providing implementation/execution.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Programming, Finance, Sales, and Operations, as well as external Affiliates and Studios.
• Collect and analyze campaign data, synthesize results and identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve performance.
• Maintain industry knowledge with relentless research into new digital trends, platforms and experiences and use that knowledge to drive strategy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in any relevant course of study (MBA preferred).
• At least 3-5 years of Marketing experience.
• Strong project management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate across functions and at various management levels both internally and externally.
• Solid business judgment, including strategic analysis and conceptual thinking.
• Working knowledge of digital media distribution (with exposure to OTT) and understanding of business challenges and opportunities across multiple business segments.
• Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and some HTML coding.
• Must have Microsoft Office, including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Self-motivated and able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to work individually and in teams.
• Strong team player who can build and maintain working relationships at multiple levels within the organization and externally with credibility and influence.

• Exhibits strong initiative and proactively seeks to improve products and services and/or executes improvement projects to successful completion.
• Able to work well under pressure and ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects without losing sight of deadline and departmental objectives.
• A natural sense of curiosity and driven to become an expert in multiple fields.
• Passion for digital media, especially movies and television categories.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
