A unique and exciting business reshaping the entertainment industry by helping filmmakers develop, package and sell their movies, TV series, and branded entertainment seeks a dynamic Admin & Marketing Assistant.
This is a great opportunity for someone who likes working in a dynamic, small-business entertainment environment and has experience in an assistant role and a passion/interest in marketing. Some Internet marketing skills/experience a plus.
Qualifications:
-High level written, verbal and phone communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Strong organizational and planning skills
-Very familiar with technology and general/working knowledge of website management/hosting and other office technology
-Working knowledge of html, wordpress and/or similar platforms
-Desire to learn and an interest in internet marketing, blogging and social media
-Mac proficient with strong skills in Word, iCloud, iCal, iPhone, Excel
-Creative problem solver
-Experience working in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
-Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, following through on issues in a timely manner.
-Proven ability to work effectively and professionally with all levels of internal and external customers.
-Demonstrated ability to exercise a degree of discretionary judgment while working with confidential information.
-Must be thick-skinned, personable, and approachable to all levels of Internal and external customers.
-Strong ability to work in a team environment and independently
-Goal oriented and willing to take on new challenges as the position and company grows
Responsibilities:
-Report directly to CEO and Marketing Coordinator
-Manage team-member phone calls and calendar, schedule conference calls and meetings; keep team abreast of calendar, action items, messages and relevant business issues
-Proofread marketing copy
-Quality assurance on company websites and email communication
-Contribute to and help manage company social media pages and blogs
-Assist with managing marketing calendar
-Updating company websites and blogs (basic html)
-Assist with compiling data on marketing and sales efforts
-Assist with optimizing marketing department
-Assist with project related support and research
-Process expense reports and internal documents
-Greet clients with exceptional service
-Assist HR & accounting
-Office supply inventory
-Interact with clients as you confirm appointments, facilitate meetings and provide status updates on outstanding projects
-Conduct project-specific research and take on additional duties as assigned
-Light cleaning of kitchen area
Preferred Skills:
-Photoshop/design experience
-Basic video editing (Final Cut or iMovie)
-Experience in marketing or social media preferred, but not required
