HOUSE MANAGER:
Excellent skills and/or working knowledge of Digital Projection, Surround Sound, POS Ticketing Systems, and previous experience in theatre management a plus. Training available for digital and POS. Duties will include scheduling work hours for house staff, weekly concession inventory and orders, Ingest and QC upcoming films, meet deliveries, oversee security of register sales, membership registration, open and close each night, troubleshoot problems, and effectively delegate duties to team staff members. Must be willing to oversee additional location in Santa Monica from time to time, have an effective managerial style, with an aptitude to train and be trained in new systems. Will need a strong eye for crowd control during events. Will be in frequent interface with Operations and Business Partners, and fresh ideas welcomed towards securing growth and efficiency within the company.
Our House Manager will also interface with our audience, so persuasive, professional communication skills along with excellent guest service is key. Needs to be equally comfortable communicating with event and PR staff, filmmakers and entertainment clientele, supervisors, vendors, building security, and honoring building regulations. Hours: afternoon to evening, 4 -6 days a week TBD.
SUMMARY:
MUST be available Weekends/Nights & Holidays.
MUST have smart phone and computer for frequent communication.
MUST lead by example.
MUST be able to give excellent customer service.
MUST have attention to detail and an outgoing personality.
Experience working at a Movie Theater preferred, but not needed.
