Are you a media-savvy, gets-things-done college student or recent grad who wants to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing video startup? Vidme is seeking a part-time intern to participate in all aspects of creator relations, including: scouting, outreach, onboarding, customer service, day-to-day management, and audience engagement.
You will:
- Scout potential new Vidme creators across external video communities.
- Assist in the onboarding and management process for new Vidme creators.
- Interact with the community on a regular basis, including daily activity moderation and community engagement across the Vidme platform and other social channels.
- Liaise between the community and the product team to prioritize product feature requests.
- Respond to creator-centric help tickets in a timely manner.
- Think proactively about how you and Vidme at large can better serve creators.
You have:
- A solid understanding of the online video industry, including: monetization, content creation, content distribution, and marketing.
- Fluency in top social media platforms.
- Broad familiarity with web culture, with a strong interest in the intersection of the entertainment business, technology and video.
- Excellent writing skills. You cringe at bad grammar and you pride yourself on the quality of your copy.
- Flexibility and a zeal to learn. You know you don't know everything, but you seize every chance you have to learn new things and become more efficient. You know how to Google questions when you don't have an answer.
- High EQ, a sense of humor, and an eagerness to help creators succeed.
Bonus points if you:
- Are a talented content creator or video editor.
- Are popular on social media, or have an existing network of content creators, artists or storytellers.
- Love reddit and online communities.
