Night Post Production Assistant

The primary role of the Night Post Production Assistant is to facilitate movement of media through the Post Production department from ingest to final delivery and archiving.
Basic knowledge of Post Production workflows and Post Production applications such as the Adobe Creative suite is required and the applicant should have technical mind as well as strong organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate with some experience and a desire to learn the technical workflow for online and television video production.
Ingesting and backup of a high volume of video rushes in a wide range of formats from cards, cameras, drives and FTP's.
Converting of media to editable formats and correct frame rates.
Setting up project files, syncing camera footage and audio, and organizing projects for editors.
Delivery and QC
Quality Control of files prior to upload.
Encoding and uploading final films to multiple platforms in the relevant format, i.e. Ooyala, YouTube, Vimeo and FTP's.
Making changes on credits and graphics.
Day-to-day archiving of completed projects using Cache-A LTO tape drives.
Ensuring dailies are backed up and delivery logs have been updated.
Organizing projects and assets on the SAN volumes.
Helping to manage the archive and coordinating archived assets between the international offices. Including video assets, raw footage and transcriptions.
From time to time assistant editing duties will be required.
Importing and Exporting XML's
Making transcripts and shot logs, music cue sheets.
Downloading and converting Archive.
