SVP of Series Production
Description
The VP of Post Production is responsible for all aspects of the post-production process for Live action Series content produced by Nickelodeon. Most importantly, the VP is responsible for ensuring delivery protocols as outlined by the Network, as well as the NOC, covering platforms including (but not limited to) linear, digital, VOD, DTO, mobile and social media. The VP of Post Production is the key contact between production and various lines of business, communicating technical requirements and ensuring delivery of assets.
Responsibilities
& Duties:
The VP of Post oversees the delivery process from a top-level, as it relates to individual productions delivering content to the network. The VP of Post Production is a liaison between the production, the studio and the network. They must see to it that all scheduling and budgetary concerns (as they relate to post production) are followed and it is their responsibility to alert the SVP of Series Production, the Line Producer of their show(s) and the GM/SVP of the Studio to any problems that may arise that would cause the production to miss delivery/air dates or to fall outside of the agreed upon Post Production budget. The VP of Post Production works with each production to review and define the production guidelines as requested by the network. In addition, the VP of Post Production acts as liaison to problem-solve creative challenges tied to delivery of content for a multitude of projects and platforms (promos, app, linear, digital, VOD, DTO, mobile and social media).
On-Going Duties:
• Communicate with EIC’s, Executive Producers and Line Producers regarding status of production, delivery of episodes
• Facilitate special requests in timely manner between production and various lines of business; supervise delivery of assets
• Ensure delivery protocols and technical standards are being upheld
• Educate personnel on various post-production technologies and delivery methods
• Receipt, organization, tracking, distribution, duplication and delivery of post-production material
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written)
Supervisory:
• Works directly on live action series overseeing multiple post production live action series.
Basic Qualifications

• Possess knowledge of live action production process and visual effects.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Ability to manage a large number of tasks concurrently
• Schedule and organize meetings with project managers, producers, the legal departments, productions assistants, various IT groups and others when needed
