As the Social Content Assistant you will have an amazing opportunity to get involved in a whole variety of task....
The Social Content Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Nickelodeon’s lifestyle brand The Scoop & additional video assets across Nickelodeon social in the UK and internationally.
The Scoop aims to give girls aged 10-15 a daily snapshot of everything they need to know from the worlds of Nickelodeon talent, celebrity, music, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle and tech.
As the daily content creator, the Social content assistant will be both a champion of our brand and our target audience. The Social Content Assistant will be committed to being clued-in to our audiences’ ever-changing interests and habits in order to generate socially engaging content.
In addition, with our own host of Nickelodeon stars and programmes the Social Content Assistant will work closely with the marketing and digital teams, to support channel priorities by creating video content that will engage and excite our audience.
This is a new, exciting and challenging role full of opportunity that requires passion, creativity, self-motivation, and a genuine interest in this young audience.
What will you be doing.....
Create, source and produce beautiful, visually engaging daily video content for The Scoop and Nickelodeon UK & International social media across several mediums from video, animation, fast-motion, stop-motion, time-lapse, gifs, memes, promos and more
Design and animate editorial content
Develop and produce video content based on key kid events milestones
Develop a visual brand identity for The Scoop
Create daily social content to support pushes across Nickelodeon social platforms
Create monthly content plans to share with wider business when necessary
Work closely with the marketing, and digital teams to source Nickelodeon content and receive feedback on article performance
Be the business authority on key trends and talent for girls 10-15
Develop & maintain relationships with PRs, influencers and talent managers
Support the marketing team with design briefs and motion graphics across multi-platform
What do you need to succeed.....
You will need a strong portfolio of videography & design projects
Expert technical knowledge in Advanced Adobe Suite
Advanced technical ability in filming, directing & producing video content
Strong graphics & animation skills
Demonstrable experience of creating video content for a youth audience
First rate communication skills, both written and verbal
Creative-to-the-core and able to come up with ideas to turn simple Instagram posts into LOL stories that our readers will love and share
Genuine interest in fashion, entertainment and music and the habits and interests of a young, female audience
A cut-throat eye for detail with unrivalled copywriting & proofreading skills
Experience of pushing editorial content across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram a plus
