Do you have a keen interest in TV, are you someone who is super organized who loves using Excel. Are you a whizz at ensuring budgets are adhered to and keeping everything on track then our role as Slate Manager for our amazing Milkshake brand could be the next role you are looking for.
Your role;
To provide robust business support to Head Of Children (HOC) in key areas and work closely with relevant departments in the Viacom family. Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing all key elements of the commercial and legal process and providing a single point of contact for internal and external stake holders.
You will be responsbile for;
Managing budgets and cost-reporting to HOC and other relevant departments
Managing TX spend and keeping HOC informed regarding Year End requirements
Working with HOC to model future budget requirements
Managing Milkshake programme schedule – implementing changes working with HOC
Managing CMS (What’s On) and billing process
Working with Viacom Consumer Insights & Analysis teams to act on findings
Working with Viacom Programming Teams to monitor and report on affiliate platform requirements for shared content
Working with C5 Legal and Commercial to ensure that all contractual obligations are met
Managing VOD requirements and reporting across all platforms, both internal and external
Monitoring Original Hours commitments and advise HOC and C5 Legal of same
Assessing production paperwork for Producers and verify funding plan prior to greenlight
Having responsibility for and managing the BBAM process
Instructing Team Assistant on Invoicing, Purchase Orders etc.
Managing spreadsheets of content inventory, licenses, rights etc.
Work with HOC and Viacom Programming teams to manage complimentary content planning with Nickelodeon Network
Managing programme schedule for the Older Children’s Block (OCB) on Channel 5 and other content on other platforms as required
You will need to have to succeed
Excellent excel knowledge
Experience in common television practises is required, but familiarity with Viacom and/or Channel 5 systems would be a bonus
Excellent communication skills
Great attention to detail
Ability to track spend, manage complex licensing obligations
Ability to use your own initiative
A passion for kids’ content is essential
Team player
