JOB TITLE: Senior Finance Analyst
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for providing financial support for the Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) HQ MTS departments– financial planning and analysis, commercial financial support, financial reporting, analysis and evaluation of business initiatives and ensuring a strong internal control environment is maintained at all times.
The role is based in London and reports to the Finance Manager, MTS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting Finance Manager to manage multiple departmental budget packs and provide day to day financial support.
• Partnering with fellow Senior Financial Analysts in consolidation and ad hoc projects.
• Preparation of monthly financial reporting, including P&L variance analysis vs budget/forecast.
• Preparation of quarterly financial forecasts (estimates) and annual budgets.
• Review monthly P&L transactions from shared service centre.
• Managing the International Capital planning process, coordinating with the regional finance team and ensuring all submissions are on-time.
• Reporting and analysis of VIMN Capex submission vs prior estimates.
• Headcount ISCP (International Staff Compensation Planning) reporting and reconciliations, working closely with HR to ensure headcount is tightly managed.
• Managing Technology planning system LVITOH and support budget owners in completing data input in the system.
• Close liaison with transactional processing team (GBS, Budapest) to provide local assistance and review as required in order to produce monthly financial reporting.
• Adhere to internal and external reporting deadlines.
• Other ad hoc projects as requested by the Finance Manager.
• Maintain strong internal control environment.
General
• Any other duties e.g. ad hoc projects and analysis as directed by the Finance Manager and Finance Director.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover as necessary.

Skills
/Experience
• (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) Qualified accountant.
• Proven relevant work experience in a large organisation.
• Experience working with a general ledger (SAP) and financial reporting systems.
• Intermediate to advance excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of how to maintain internal controls over financial processes.
• Previous headcount and salary planning experience.
• Experience of a media technology landscape an advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
