We are looking for a collaborative, customer-focused and creative Organization Development expert to join our Organization Effectiveness (OE) team. Viacom’s OE team focuses on partnering with leaders on their organizations so that teams can do their best work. In this unique role, you’ll have the chance to make your mark, and have significant business impact in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. You’ll act as a dedicated OE partner to our Music & Entertainment brands – a portfolio that includes networks such as MTV, Comedy Central, VH1 and Spike. You’ll build an OD agenda that drives business strategy by focusing on the creation, design and implementation of solutions that enhance organization effectiveness. Our ideal team member couples a passion for OD with a strong results orientation that is directed toward adapting theories and best practices into practical, results-based solutions that align with client’s priorities and add clear, measureable value to the business.
Basic Qualifications
• Partner with key senior leaders in the development of organization effectiveness solutions focused on strategy, structure, process and teams.
• Conduct individual, team and division diagnostics and needs assessments.
• Build organizational capability through the design and implementation of impactful interventions.
• Provide change management expertise in support of organizational change projects.
• Partner with business leaders in organization redesign initiatives.
• Develop high performing teams through team coaching and facilitation.
• Drive leadership development by fostering the adoption of corporate frameworks, and by designing customized leadership development solutions where appropriate.
• Track, monitor and report on the impact of interventions.
• Manage external vendor relationships with Executive Coaches and OD Consultants on behalf of client groups.
• Participate in the development of enterprise organizational effectiveness methodologies and toolkits.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide and cross-functional projects.
Additional Qualifications
Master’s degree in Organization Development or Human Resources preferred, or degree in related field
10-15 years of progressive experience in an applied Organization Development role, ideally also with some experience as a Human Resources Generalist and in a Talent Management role.
• Demonstrated experience applying advanced theoretical knowledge of Change Management, Organization Design and OD interventions to solve business challenges.
• Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with Human Resources colleagues and working collaboratively across Human Resources disciplines.
