Full Time Job
The Nickelodeon digital team is seeking a Product Manager to drive prioritization and execution of its Apple Platform experiences (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) for both Nick and Nick Jr. Our mission is to make the world a more playful place and we believe our digital experiences are one of our best opportunities to do this. We feel that we will only achieve this if we’re doing our best creative work—making a mess, having fun, experimenting a lot, keeping it fresh, and finding the kid inside us.
In this role, you will be the Product Lead on our Apple Agile/Scrum Team. You will be responsible for identifying our best opportunities to entertain kids (“kids first!”), grow the business, and evolve our portfolio efficiently. To do this, you will bring your product management experience and vast knowledge of the Apple ecosystem—partnering with Audience Product Owners (who bring expertise about their brand and their users) and Engineering leads—to make critical decisions about what we should work on next.
Nickelodeon experiences have immense visibility, reaching over 100 million customers around the globe. As part of the Nickelodeon Product Management Team, you will join us in creating and maintaining our digital portfolio of products.
How to Win at this Job
• You live and breathe all things Apple
• You are a natural team leader — you foster a creative, collaborative and disciplined culture to produce the best results possible
• You set the tone and strike the right balance between accountable and inclusive
• You have the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder matrix and manage multiple priorities
• You derive pleasure from “getting it live” — this is a role for doers not dreamers (although there will be opportunities for more strategically based forward thinking projects)
• You are confident yet always collaborative
• You have a point of view on the best way to get something done and are able to negotiate with all parties involved to deliver the best and most efficient results possible
• You are unafraid to have your opinion changed (strong beliefs, loosely held)
• You have high product standards and the grit to achieve them
• You’re self-aware and successfully communicate at varying altitudes within the organization.
• You have a broad skill set and can wear several hats when necessary
• You are someone who wants to be in kids entertainment and you will advocate for kids in the products we build
