Job Title: Picture Campaign Producer

Reporting To: Senior Marketing Director
Location: Hawley Crescent, Camden
Purpose of the role:
As Picture Campaign Producer, you will be responsible for coming up with new innovative and creative ideas to support Channel 5 and the portfolio of channels’ campaigns across all platforms. Working collaboratively with the creative, PR and digital teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, change and continuous improvement in the quality of Channel 5’s photography ensuring consistency and high-standards at every touch point.
Working closely with the production management teams, you’ll build key relationships with independent producers and suppliers to ensure promotional materials to support Channel 5 programming is ‘Best in Class’ and delivers campaigns that will allow audiences to engage more deeply with our content, key talent, characters and storylines.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordinate campaign and picture productions for key priority campaigns, reporting directly into the Head of Marketing, ensuring the Channel 5 brand style is consistent across all Channel 5 communications
• Coordinate and manage the photography shoot process from initial brief to concept development through production and delivery of final, retouched imagery
• Manage shoot production, photo editing, retouching and image approval including all location scouting, casting, commissioning (photographers, styling, hair, make-up, set and prop designers), client liaison and admin (call sheets, schedules, licencing and delivery)
• Campaign alignment across Marketing, Press and Digital departments, whilst managing strict time lines
• Manage photography budget and perform all relevant administrative duties, ensuring the timely delivery of approved and complied photography
• Ensure appropriate standards of asset management are maintained in our content management systems and network
• Develop and manage a national network of suppliers, agencies and freelancers to support the picture production function
• Work in collaboration with Picture Editor to ensure seamless and coordinated project and asset management, over-seeing PE responsibilities as and when required
• Support the Digital Media Team with relevant administrative tasks
Experience & Knowledge:
You will have produced small to large scale photo (and video) shoots and have experience and knowledge of all current multi-media platforms (Facebook; Twitter; Snapchat; Instagram etc.) and a keen interest in all future multimedia platforms. You will have strong editorial judgement and creative development skills, and ideally vast experience with the adobe suite. You will pride yourself on delivering on time, to budget and to key performance indicators. You are a self-starter who lives for being part of making brands a great success.
• Previous experience in photography production/ creative environments
• Active interest in photography and entertainment
• A working knowledge of Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom, skilled in all aspects of digital photography, photo manipulation and digital transfer
• An understanding of and experience with copyright laws
• Ability to manage critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to plan, prep and produce photography shoots
• Ability to work creatively and flexibly within fixed budgets
