Comedy Central seeks a (MultiPlatform Producer)- **Project Management focus** to run day-to-day digital production.
The multiplatform producer will lead a team that posts content on site, app and emerging platforms. They should have proven success and a deep understanding of managerial duties, including delegating responsibility, expecting accountability and fostering a positive work environment. The producer will empower their team to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. They will also maintain work schedules, including daily assignments with tight deadlines.
The producer will work closely with the content, strategy and programming teams to ensure seamless executions between linear and multiplatform launches. They will be able to anticipate production needs based on the programming calendar and schedule resources as necessary. The producer will also collaborate with numerous teams —including editorial, design and video production -- to find solutions to problems that arise with a constantly changing calendar.
The producer will also lead quality assurance testing and be the main liaison between tech, product and multiplatform teams. They will be an effective communicator and collaborator. When issues arise, the producer will troubleshoot and solve issues, and understand when to escalate. They should be able to closely follow the life cycle of a problem and be able to draw connections if similar occurrences happen in the future.
The producer will be the expert in all Comedy Central tools and create documentation for training and reference purposes. They will partner closely with product and tech teams to create tools, including content management systems and publishing tools.
The producer must meet deadlines, thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment and work autonomously. They should have excellent project management and communication skills with a precise eye for detail.
Basic Qualifications
UPDATED:
• 5 years digital project management experience. NOTE: This is NOT a creative producer role but more of Project Management Focus, requiring a Media/TV/Network experience. focus
• 2 years managerial experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with content management systems is imperative .
Additional Qualifications
• Proven experience submiting and managing video, editorial, design and tech requests
• Current/past experience conducting quality assurance checks
• Proven experience creating and maintaining technical and operational documentation
• Adaptable team player able to meet strict deadlines and quickly prioritize the needs of various departments
• Understand the changing landscape of content consumption with a particular interest in new product launches not related to Comedy Central
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence a plus
• Highly organized, self motivated, resourceful
• Fan of Comedy Central
