We have a hugely exciting opportunity for someone to join the talented marketing team here at Nickelodeon. Our team is looking for a Marketing Executive that is passionate about Kids TV and committed to consistently understanding Nickelodeon’s audiences; their relationships, aspirations concerns, interests and media habits. This is a VERY exciting role full of opportunity to work across a multitude of projects that requires creativity, self-motivation and attention-to-detail.
Our Marketing team is pivotal in shaping Nickelodeon Networks success, developing and driving strategy and implementation to achieve brand, ratings and commercial objectives – and you will be a core part of that! There is a lot to get stuck into - you will drive many different projects with tight deadlines, so you will be a good communicator and have excellent organisational and time management skills. This is a great time to be joining Nickelodeon as we’re going from strength to strength with the biggest programming brands, and biggest pre-school brands.
You will be digitally savvy and full of ideas on how to build on our platforms to make them bigger and better!
You will have a great eye for detail and a creative flair.
This is an exciting and challenging role for someone with at least 3 years marketing experience full of opportunity that requires leadership, creativity, self-motivation, project management and attention-to-detail.
Role Specifics
• Assist the Brand Manager in strategically planning the Nickelodeon Network brand and tactical marketing activity
• Fully responsible for end to end management, delivery and review of on-air stunts, ATL campaigns and further projects
• Work across all Nickelodeon channel brands, properties and partners as required on specific projects
• Use audience insight and ratings analysis to develop activity that targets, engages and drives results, managing budgets and agencies
• Use all possible routes to market to reach our audience and make an impact – affiliates, partners and media relationships
• Manage the day to day relationship with our media agency
Key performance areas
Marketing Plans and Budgets
Work with the Brand Manager in the development of marketing plans and budgets.
Develop marketing plans and budgets for specific projects responsible for;
• demonstrating audience, brand & ratings insight
• ensuring all legal and financial processes are followed
• budget reconciliations throughout projects
Briefing and agency management
• Develop campaign and agency briefs as required
• Ensure agency work delivers against brief and budget
• Motivate and lead agency teams on projects
• Provide clear and accurate agency feedback on projects
Advertising & partnerships
• Implementation of ATL and BTL activity – building expertise and knowledge
• Management of creative development – in-house and agencies
• Development and management of media plans
Cross Business Meetings
• Support the development and management of taskforce teams in the development and delivery of campaigns and projects
• Support up-to-date project reporting detailing activity and deliverables
• Support and take part in campaign reviews and share learnings across Taskforce and marketing team
Project Management
• Manage agency and internal relationships as required building respected and trusted relationships to ensure projects run smoothly
