We are looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to manage marketing initiatives aligned to the strategic objectives of the company and its brands – primarily, our innovative and growing portfolio of advanced advertising products. The Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of product marketing efforts to scale awareness and adoption of Viacom’s advanced advertising products. They will support internal Product Management, Sales Strategy teams and work closely with the broader Marketing and Corporate Communications teams.
Candidates should be passionate about the intersection of media and technology, with strong interpersonal skills, and able to cultivate, and manage a wide variety of projects.
Responsibilities
• Develop product marketing and thought leadership initiatives in support of overarching business goals
• Develop sales support materials including one-sheets, presentations and case studies
• Develop and manage marketing campaigns including co-marketing, event, editorial and social media activity, designed to highlight Viacom’s advanced advertising products for B2B audiences
• Manage the development, execution and ongoing content of a client-facing digital hub to integrate Viacom thought leadership and marketing solutions
• Support go-to-market strategy and product launches by working across teams, including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Communication
• Build strong internal and external relationships to ensure Viacom’s objectives, messages and tactics are properly communicated and represented in the market
• Monitors competitive landscape and competitive messaging on an ongoing basis, understanding customer needs, competitive drivers and market trends
• Distill complex media, advertising, and tech concepts into clear, simple marketing outputs
Basic Qualifications
• 5-8 yrs. product marketing
• Must have B2B, ad tech or media experience
• Must have marketing experience with Data Products
• Must have a great understaning of data and analytics
• Creative thinker who can step out of the box and propose strategic, innovative ideas but can also get their hands dirty with strong executional abilities
• Solid understanding of the TV and digital eco-system, including content strategies, business models and monetization strategies
Additional Qualifications
• Big appetite for diving into complex concepts, ranging from value proposition development measurement/evaluation frameworks and KPIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and presentation skills
• Flexibility, initiative, appetite for dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-development and leadership skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task
