Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) license and develop product across our successful portfolio of Viacom brands including PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants.
The Junior Designer position will join the growing publishing arm of NVCP. We work with major publishers across EMEA, developing books, magazines, collectibles and partworks. This role will provide design support to the PD Manager and the Product Development Designer, assisting with setting creative direction on new brands, providing day-to-day product approvals for a variety of licensees, working on our in-house book development, providing creative support to partners, and ensuring we develop best-in-class, innovative publishing across our well-loved children’s brands.
We’re looking for someone with strong graphic design skills ready to take the next step in their creative career. You’ll have an interest in children’s publishing and the licensing industry – and while a background in either is advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates not currently working in these fields. You’ll be looking to build on your print design and creative direction skills under a more senior designer, and grow with the team. You’ll be at your best working in a fast-paced environment, working on varying projects at different stages of development, with creative flair and core organisational and communication skills.
As part of the International Brand Management team, the Junior Designer sits within the EMEA Product Development team and reports to the PD Manager and Editor - Content - EMEA.
