Viacom is seeking an Coordinator - Tech & Ad Ops in the Audience Science division.
This role is responsible for essential Tech & Ad Ops capabilities and services within the Audience Science division. The Audience Science team serves as an internal media agency within Viacom. Its client portfolio is inclusive of BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Epix, Logo MTV, MTV2, Nick VH1, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the creation of 1st party audiences in Adobe Audience Manager
• Perform QA of media plans to ensure required audiences are built in appropriate platforms
• Generate and review YouTube Re-marketing lists to ensure they are up-to-date and new videos are being added as needed
• Partner with other Audience Science Group teams (e.g. Programmatic Trade Desk, Account Services, Strategic Planning, Analytics) to ensure client campaign requirements are met and executed
• Manage and traffic online advertising campaigns in DoubleClick Campaign Manager
• Schedule automated reports in addition to being able to prepare ad-hoc daily/weekly reports when necessary
• Review delivery information and troubleshoot pixel implementation issues with campaign verification systems (e.g. Integral Ad Science, comScore)
• Develop working knowledge of Ad Serving Platforms (e.g. Sizmek, Celtra, Flashtalking, DoubleClick Rich Media, MediaMath) to traffic ads for campaigns, inclusive of the ability to build units from scratch
• Stay up-to-date on the latest digital advertising trends and make recommendations for vendor meetings when applicable
• Provide back-up coverage for other members of Tech & Ad Ops team
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Understanding of Demand Side Platforms
• Knowledge of Marketing Design Tools
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Additional Qualifications
• 1-2 years working with audience data, particularly with an audience data management platform (e.g. Adobe)
• 1-2 experience in creating a variety of ad units, including rich media ad units via various ad platforms (e.g. Sizmek, Celtra, Flashtalking, Google DoubleClick Studio, etc.)
• Working knowledge of DSPs (MediaMath, TapAd, Yahoo! BrightRoll, DBM, etc.)
• Process-orientated, but not rigid. Must have a strong ability to identify and solve problems as well as be highly flexible and willing to adapt to in an ever-changing digital landscape
• Must have a very client-friendly demeanor and be able to effectively communicate and work with other internal team verticals, numerous internal Viacom teams, outside vendors, etc
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment, serving over 15 clients at once
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed to ensure flawless execution of all media buys
• Must be a team player with a “can-do” attitude, who exhibits a strong sense of flexibility, project ownership, entrepreneurial drive, curiosity, and is able to identify and solve problems independently
