Full Time Job
Primarily responsible for providing marketing and administrative support for the planning, management and execution of Nickelodeon international brand and property marketing initiatives. The coordinator will also assist the team in developing marketing collateral and coordinating trade events, in support of VIMN’s international program sales business.
Responsibilities
include:
• Support Director and VP in development and execution of cross-business marketing plans to support key brand and property initiatives (i.e. SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol)
• Collaborate cross-divisionally with international central lines of business (including programming, digital, creative, press, ad sales, content management, consumer products, research, legal) to coordinate international launch and sustain plans for Nickelodeon property and brand initiatives
• Share marketing best practices across the business through creation and distribution of tools such as bi-monthly international marketing newsletter
• Regularly monitor industry trades and conduct competitive research for Nickelodeon’s key competitors within the kids and family media landscape
• Support project evaluation process through surveys and post-mortem meetings, and create post-event/campaign wrap-up reports
• Work with vendors to develop and design premiums in support of property campaigns and tentpole events
• General support of the preparation and execution of key international trade events such as MIPCOM, MIPTV, ATF, LA Screenings, NATPE, DISCOP, and APEX
• Design and maintain sales marketing materials and tools, including sell sheets, sizzle reels, program listings, sales catalogs, and e-blasts
• Assist in briefing and planning of advertising, listings, and search engine marketing campaigns and route materials to industry trade media partners
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Preferably 2 years professional work experience in Marketing (strong internship experience accepted)
• Graphic design background with strong creative and aesthetic sensibilities
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
• Experience and savvy with the digital and social media space
• Passion for television and entertainment, affinity for Nickelodeon and Viacom brands, and familiarity with the kids’ entertainment space
Additional Qualifications
• Excellent oral and written communication with ability to create strong presentations and tools
• Experience with Keynote and MailChimp, a plus
