Full Time Job
Provide full administrative and clerical support to the MTV, VH1 and Logo Human Resources Department in order to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the department run effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide administrative support to department on various Human Resources projects and initiatives
• Implement systems to effectively manage department needs
• Support team on all administrative projects tied to employee lifecycle (i.e. orientation prep, promotions approvals and termination process)
• Handle termination administration (termination notifications to appropriate parties; collection of forms from managers, timely collection of devices and equipment and other reporting tied to terminations)
• Prepare and track Staff and Non-Staff Headcount Approval Forms
• Effectively maintain employee data current. Regularly file all employee documentation (PAFs, employment contracts, Merit and STIP confirmations, Performance Appraisals, employment verification letters, etc.) keeping files and data organized.
• Support HR team with entering and updating Finance File for HR/Finance approvals process.
• Maintain accurate and updated org charts
• Preparation of HRIS employee alpha report
• Maintain calendar for HR team
• Hand delivery and pick up of confidential and time sensitive documents, as necessary
• Set up meetings, including all meeting logistics
• Handle invoice processing, check requests, T&Es, overnight mail deliveries, and messenger deliveries for department
• Order supplies for department
• Handle travel arrangements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Office)
