The MTV/VH1/Logo Research team is seeking an experienced social/digital research analyst. This position will support the quantitative and competitive reporting and measurement functions as they pertain to MTV/VH1/Logo Digital. This position reports to the Manager of MTV Digital Strategic Insights & Research.
This individual will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from various social and digital analytics sources to provide consistent and actionable data across the social media and digital landscape. In addition, this position is responsible for competitive intelligence, contributing to in-depth analysis of our audience and traffic, supporting management in the development of presentations and case studies, and fielding ad hoc queries from internal clients as needed.
Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience working in a digital media company with an emphasis on social media
• Strong background/understanding of social media analytics (Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics, Social Guide, Crimson Hexagon, etc.)
• Bachelors degree or higher
• Strong usage of internal Digital tracking solutions (Omniture SiteCatalyst & Report Builder, etc.)

• Ability to work independently, efficiently and amongst team striving toward a common goal
• Ability to spearhead a project, troubleshoot, and thoroughly manage it through to completion
