Vendome Pictures seeks interns who want to learn about the film industry in financier/production company.
Vendome is a producer and financier company founded by French producer Philippe Rousselet (Lord of War). Vendome produced the films ''Source Code'' and ''Larry Crowne" and finances/produces 2-3 movies a year in the 10-45 million dollar budget range. Interns work closely with the creative executives and are active participants in weekly staff meetings and discussions about incoming material and projects in development.
Duties include reading scripts and providing coverage. Interns are also responsible for light admin work (answering telephone, photocopying, filing, etc.) and project research.
The ideal candidate should like to read and analyze scripts, have strong writing/analytical skills, and have strong computer skills. A commitment of 2-3 days per week and a laptop are required. We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
The company is small and allows for a lot of creative growth and participation. |
