Essential Job Functions
Maximizes merchandise sales in venue, through stand placement and vendor needs, consistently achieving sales goals
Work closely and maintain constant communication with VStar Merchandise Operations, Booking team, the Show Manager, and Venue representatives to address on-site issues, unexpected costs, and to ensure that all parties adhere to the provisions of the contract
Compile payroll information for unit employees and submit to corporate Payroll by established processing deadlines to ensure that unit employees are paid timely and accurately
Prepare weekly, and post-engagement reports on a timely basis as required by company policies and procedures.
Managing supplies and incoming shipments
Supervises and leads immediate staff of 6-8 staff members throughout the duration of the tour
Motivates staff to drive sales
Ensuring load in, load out and show days are executing to VStar Merchandise Operations standards
Ensure that merchandise inventory and sales are recorded, reconciled and submitted in a timely manner and prepare and submit weekly deposit ensuring no over or shorts and keep constant control on petty cash
Job Requirements
Leadership skills is a must
Customer Service experience is required
College degree, 4 year preferred in management
2 years' minimum working in Live Events
Must be able and willing to travel (required)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Knowledge of Live Event Merchandise Operations
Self-starter, team player, quick learner, organized, multitasking skills
Good communicator and able to make practical decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to work comfortably with people of very diverse personalities, backgrounds and cultures.
Cash handling experience
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
