Job Description:
Rigging specialist needed to work with team members on upcoming rigging orders, preventative maintenance and quality control of rigging systems. Tasks will include but are not limited to: general inspection and QC of chain-hoists, various sizes and styles of truss, chain-hoist control systems, chain-hoist power distribution, and the general upkeep of misc. rigging accessories. This position will also require data entry into the VER proprietary software system documenting order notes, logistical information along with the documentation of inspection and maintenance records.
Minimum Requirements:
Core knowledge of stage rigging equipment and techniques. Familiarity with the live production and event industry. Familiarity with stage-lighting systems and power distribution. Computer proficiency, organizational skills, strong work ethic.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm, with occasional weekend hours as needed.
