Full Time Job
The Project Manager's primary role is to directly interact with account executives and clients to plan, develop and execute a project. Defining objectives and quality control throughout the projects life cycle. Will maintain client/ customer relations at all times.
Interface with sales team and end user to assist in managing and implementing a service or product solution that meets the budget and creative criteria for new or existing projects.
Contribute to the development and completion of team action plans, consider the cost and benefit implications of action plans and team activities. Ability to work collaboratively with internal customers, clients and vendors. Critically evaluate solution ideas by considering data, precedents, and input from others, as well as your own personal experience and knowledge.
Enter and maintain orders into VER's inventory software and communicate equipment requirements to VER Operations.
Work with road staff to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
Working knowledge of production lighting, LED, rigging, servers.
Ability to travel, both within the US and abroad, to job sites.
Research and identify new product offerings and services that will enhance the VER brand and align with VER standards and services to customers.
Proficiency in project, task management, and collaboration applications such as. Good computer skills, including but not limited to: Office 365, Word, Excel, AutoCAD/Vectorworks, as well as proficiency in VER inventory software (REV).
Project Management
Responsible for high profile deliverable's in the VER production department; timeline management, resource planning, quality and delivery. 50 %
Manage multiple projects. Must be extremely organized and have excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills. On-site production execution: planning, directing crew and providing instruction. Self-starter able to adapt to rising challenges, owning all aspects of job.
Technical Support
Execute required job functions on site with no additional support. Ability to act as a technical project or product lead. Understanding of signal flow and processing. 35%
Ability to present creative solutions to challenging requests -- efficiently and economically. Troubleshooting and commitment to the technical success of each job. Technically execute and prep video, lighting and media server production jobs. Specifically, Light Pilot jobs. Programming and computer networking skills. Basic rigging required
Team Member
Work with other members of the team to generate innovative solutions to obstacles. 10%
Participate in team meetings. Assist other team members. Take responsibility for contributing to the success of the team, offer solutions to team problems; not complaints. Willingness to train other team members and participate in training s programs such as, internship and apprentices. Take action to promote a positive team environment.
Training and Growth
Willingness to learn and effectively process new information, procedures and business practices. 5%
Willingness to keep abreast of new technology and trends in the entertainment industry. Identify skills needed to perform job duties more effectively and work with management to obtain the support for training. Continued self-awareness and individual growth.
