Full Time Job
The Broadcast Commercial Manager will be responsible for sales and marketing plans; expanding the company's customer base and ensuring its strong presence. The Broadcast Commercial Manager will build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, increase sales, and assure excellence in delivery experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Define and deliver the broadcast sales and marketing strategy for the region
* Build and maintain close collaborative working relationships with clients and perspective clients
* In collaboration with the technical team respond to RFI and ITT's
* Provide insight into the broadcast market landscape, background to deals, alternatives etc.
* Proactively provide information to wider sales teams and support broadcast sales activities across the business
* Collaborate with in house sales teams to identify market opportunity and product development
* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage a broad range of briefs in line with commercial and communication objectives
* Support building of long-term relationships with our broadcast partners
* Monitor delivery of contracted facilities, liaising with internal and external vendors
* Collect client feedback on a regular basis
* Organize and manage marketing efforts to raise awareness of the VER Broadcast brand
* Manage after-sales activities
* Day to day management of the European Broadcast pipeline
* Collaborate with internal departments on all broadcast related opportunities and activities
* Coordination of incoming information from clients
* Attendance at functions, conferences and events to support broadcast activities
* Provide regular feedback to Director of Broadcast Services, Europe
Qualifications
* Strong experience within a sales or commercial management setting
* Familiarity with managing customer interactions, negotiating contracts, and responding to Invitations to Tender
* Broad knowledge of broadcast and film facilities and regional variations in approach
* Experience of financial reporting and budget management
* Proven account manager, strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills
* Good analysis and problem solving skills
* Ability to review and critique the status quo and look for improvements in all areas
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
* Accurate communication of crucial information
* Methodical and accurate, even when under pressure
* Fluency in a second language
* Education to Degree Level or equivalent
* Excellent communication skill, confident in contributing ideas and working in a collaborative way
* Diplomacy skills, bridging between internal and external teams
* Resource management, identifying and allocating the most appropriate resources in delivering briefs
* Stakeholder management, being able to communicate technical terminology to non-technical stakeholders
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Ability to meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions
* Travel to locations, trade shows, client meetings and so on will be required.
* Occasional international travel, overtime, and working on weekends will be required

* Ability to lift 50-pounds
