Job purpose
The daily purpose of this position is to facilitate the inbound and outbound process and coordinate with operations to ensure execution of orders and deliveries. Communicating with QC and operations personnel to ensure a smooth transition through the Inbound, Quality Control and outbound processing
Duties and responsibilities
-Managing the scope of the outbound order/transfers each day up to but not limited to scanning orders or Transfers
-Coordinating the loading and unloading of trucks.
-Managing the gear on the floor going through the daily process keeping through ways accessible and the days inbound and outbound organized
Managing Inbound/Outbound-60%
-Generate Quality Control report to plan out the days inbound and outbound equipment
-Delegate orders/transfers to pullers to begin the outbound process
-Ensure all outbound equipment is staged and ready for shipment, on time
-Coordinating Inbound and Outbound shuttles for pick up and deliveries to other departments
-Organizing Inbound and Outbound orders and Transfers for easy sorting and distribution
-Communicate with the Audio Operations manager, Agents and the Quality Control Department on shortages and damaged equipment
Controlling the Floor-20%
-Encouraging the idea of clear paths for easy mobility through the day
-Consolidating and stacking cases to create open lanes and space
-Making sure all areas on the floor are kept clean and organized at the start and end of everyday.
Customer Service-20%
-Attending to Will call pick ups for clients, transport, and VER related logistics
-A full working knowledge of the inventory program in order to facilitate pick ups and communicate with VER dispatch.
Qualifications:
-High School /2yr associate
-Audio background is a Plus
-Computer skills: email, Excel, Word
-Organization,
-Patience, good attitude, and willing to learn will go a long way
-Forklift, CDL (not a must)
-Warehouse /Logistics
Working conditions:
This a high paced environment with a wide customer base. This can create a high stress environment working to get orders out the door and customers satisfied. It is not uncommon for us to work 10-12hr. during busy times. Normal shifts run about 8hrs. Depending. We tend to get a lot of last minute pop up orders which tends to extend the day at a moments notice
Physical requirements:
This can be a very physical environment. Heavy lifting and stacking cases. This job will keep you on your feet a fair amount of the day, lots of walking, and standing. Not uncommon to be on your feet for a full shift w/OT
