Creative Services Editor/Producer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and executing motion graphics, graphic design elements editing spots for sales as well as editing promotional campaigns for the news department and the station both video and print media. Must have the ability to translate, write, edit, do camera work, and design graphics. Execute projects such as promotional events and community shows for the station. Be able to manage a project from concept to finished piece and work with minimal supervision. Must be proactive, a quick learner, with the ability to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment. Must be able to contribute to other Creative Services projects as deemed necessary.
Education
High School Graduate with some college preferred.
Experience
2 years experience as a motion graphics editor. (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
Must be proficient in MAC and PC, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and knowledge of Avid editing systems, Final Cut Pro, motion graphics video editing. Knowledge in 3D animation with Cinema 4D is a plus. Above average computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Working knowledge of Canon C300, DVC Pro, P2 camera, or Canon 7D; production field lighting and shooting.
Language Skills
Proficient in written and oral Spanish and English preferred.
* Applicants must have a valid California Driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements: Ability to drive, stand, walk and sit for up to 8 hours.
