JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary:
Sr. Director, Sales – Catalog will lead, develop, and manage overall sales initiatives for UMGD to achieve sales and marketing goals across all label groups (owned and associated), with special emphasis on leveraging digital opportunities in merchandising, marketing, promotions, and all activities across all accounts. Additional responsibilities will include involvement with physical product, new business opportunities, and supporting opportunities for specialty areas.
Job Functions:
• Create and maximize opportunities to expose all catalog products with
emphasis on Streaming and Downloading
• Interact with account teams as it relates to catalog product
o Increase revenues and maximize opportunities
o Strategize and manage promotional, merchandising, positioning and
placement opportunities
• Communicate digital catalog account trends, successes, opportunities, best practices
to labels focused on account growth
• Leverage best practices and new ideas for digital catalog marketing and
merchandising opportunities across all account teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on and management experience with digital accounts (online, mobile, subscriptions), at least 4 years
• General knowledge and experience with industry information systems ( SoundScan, etc.)
• Proven knowledge of supply chain operations and DDEX
• Strong business acumen and results-oriented
• Sales and budgeting experience and knowledge
• Proven leadership and management experience and success
• Ability to operate in a highly collaborative manner and work in pressure situations
• Excellent negotiating and people skills
• Polished presentation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship skills with all levels of executives and management
• Proven experience in crafting and delivering executive-level presentations using various media
• Solid understanding of P&L's
• Proven knowledge of sales and marketing strategies and concepts
