Universal Music Group (UMG) is currently seeking a SVP for Marketing & Product Development
JobSummary:
Position oversees marketing initiatives targeted to consumers to include D2C eCommerce(marketing and platform management), Consumer Marketing (CRM, Social Media), andProduct Development (Apps, innovative technological avenues of getting music tothe consumer through varying devices). Ideal candidate must understand market analytics around consumers and markettrends, and work closely with the Analysis and Market Research teams to plan,execute, adapt consumer marketing efforts. There will be 3-4 direct reports (D2C, CRM/Consumer Marketing, ProductDevelopment) with a total of approximately 10-15 people in the department. Person must be able to effectively manage businessideas and strategies relevant to consumer marketing and consumer insights to increaseour penetration into the marketplace and increase revenue (particularly focusedon digital and mobile), have an excellent working knowledge and experience inConsumer Marketing, and complete working knowledge of affects of andapplications from Market Research and analytics to create strategy andrecommendations for content owners.

Job Requirements: Requirements
8+ years ofsuccessful working experience in Consumer Marketing (CRM, D2C)
3+ years of workingenvironment with Apps
5+ years ofsuccessful working experience around consumer insights and strategy (includingindustry leaders in consumer insights)
5+ years inworking with digital and mobile products (directly and indirectly)
Excellent understandingof analytics and application of data analysis results
Solid understandingof entertainment business
Ability tooperate in a highly collaborative manner and work in pressure situations
Strongrelationship building with internal and external senior management
Solidunderstanding of CRM opportunities and application (marketing, technology,execution)
Excellentcommunication skills (verbal and written)
Excellentpresentation skills
Minimum 4-yearcollege degree and 10 years professional experience
