JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the commercial development team as the primary lead on all category solicitations and subsequent tracking, as well as, act as the primary commercial development point of contact, and overall knowledge base, for catalog (titles 18 months or older) across Caroline's roster of labels.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Trafficking all commercial category solicitations for label participation and approval
as directed by the various category leads
• Initiating catalog centric title suggestions to label partners for all solicitations in concert
with the various category leads
• Tracking the progress, run dates and price adjustments for any confirmed
category solicitations
• Tracking and execution of goals and action items in team 'task tracker'
• Initiating catalog new release companion/artist back catalog opportunities
• Identify and coordinate execution of 'Horizontal events', sales opportunities that
could encompass catalog and new release titles alike, around an event, holiday, etc.
• Identify and execute major account retail price tier opportunity
(sharp priced / dump bins) based on title velocity and stock
• Catalog centric streaming service playlisting, development and label marketing
• Develop and maintain Key Catalog weekly report
• Setting and meeting catalog business key performance indicators (KPI's)
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Co-Develop and support regular 'Caroline Catalog Centric' newsletter
• Co-Support affiliate program opportunities, links and messaging
• Optimize metadata, search results and other online presence opportunity
• Legacy artist streaming service profile optimization
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements:
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
• Must have a deep knowledge base of Caroline label roster catalog
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an admin/coordinator level position, preferably with a music
or entertainment company
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Knowledge and understanding of the music industry
• Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel
• Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based evolving workload
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness,
and the ability to establish quick rapport
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and effectively follow through under
pressure and/or tight deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
