JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary:
The Junior Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy is responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy of the Regional Mexican (Fonovisa) artists in the label. They will work with product managers to build and execute an integrated plan encompassing key digital marketing elements including (but not limited to): commercial strategies, social media, CRM, paid media, web development, digital promotions, engagement apps and mobile marketing campaigns.
He or she will manage a portfolio of US Latin artists in regards to the digital marketing strategy and budget and will also be responsible of continuously analyzing campaign activity and reporting results and recommendations with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Work in conjunction with Senior Director to build digital marketing plans and enable campaign execution in accordance with UMLE marketing guidelines and timelines
• Work in conjunction with Senior Director to manage digital marketing budgets.
• Liaise with sales teams to set the digital marketing actions and ensure timely delivery of all promotional tools (design assets, audio/video content, email & social media communication etc)
• Manage social media and community management for artists.
• Manage CRM strategy for products including email communication, data collection and campaign analysis.
• Work closely with the Digital Product Development team to deliver innovative products (engagement apps, websites, sweepstakes etc.)
• Responsible of working and liaise with Internet portals and digital partners in the setup of promotions and release campaigns.
• Work in conjunction with Senior Director to manage the planning, execution and measurement of paid media campaigns, assessing effectiveness of strategies
• Ensure the timely maintenance of artist websites with up to date information, content and design.
• Work in conjunction with Senior Director to supervise creative teams in the development of marketing materials (social media, ad banners, video content, email templates etc.).
• Analyze campaign activity including traffic, sales conversions, growth patterns, sentiment and proactively report key findings and recommendations to Directors and Senior Management
• Continuously research and drive innovation via new digital marketing tools and strategies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Job Requirements.
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related digital or music field is required.
• Experience in music/entertainment business is preferred.
• Candidate must be willing to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• They must be able to work in teams and also be a self-starter.
• Excellent communication, presentation and written skills.
• Knowledge of Latin music and the US–Hispanic music industry is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required (verbal and written)
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Powerpoint).
• Knowledge of creative, a/v and programming applications is a plus: Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Final Cut, ProTools.
• Candidate must be willing to attend concerts, events and travel if required.
