JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary:
Design:
• Deliver best-in-class design work supporting Republic Records' digital marketing initiatives
• Work with digital and marketing teams to design, test and optimize online advertising
assets including banners, eCRM templates, Facebook ads, video pre-rolls, and any
other image or video content created for purposes of engaging fans online.
• Be capable of designing and coding simple websites in Wordpress utilizing an
in-house suite of API plug-ins
• Working with VP Digital Marketing - Design, curate and optimize weekly Republic
email newsletter
• Discover and share inspirational design work across the digital and marketing
teams – be an evangelist for great visual communication in marketing
Social Management
• Maintain content calendar for Republic's social platforms
• Blog and create other social content creation on behalf of artists and Republic
• Minute by minute participation in conversations that surround artists and answering
questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations
• Identify opportunities for user generated content campaigns
• Provide Republic Records presence via social platforms including Twitter, Facebook,
VINE, Pinterest, Tumblr, You Tube and RepublicRecords.com
• You Tube channel management
• Optimize tags, keywords and content descriptions
• Prepare weekly social reporting for marketing team
• Translate anecdotal and qualitative data and turn these insights into social
marketing campaigns
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong conceptual skills
• Expert in all design software (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Wordpress, and HTML/CSS
• Detailed understanding of social media platforms
• Basic understanding of YouTube channel management practices
• Understanding of how to balance multiple ongoing projects and prioritize workflow
• Able to work at speed in a dynamic environment
• Candidate must have excellent writing skills with ability to quickly create digital media content including GIFs, banners and short videos.
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Able to draw influence from a vast array of creative sources across all markets and industries
• Strong communicator and strategic thinker
Experience
• Demonstrated ability to map out a social marketing strategy and then drive that strategy to
proven results by testing and metrics
Education
• Bachelors degree in graphic design, marketing, or digital media management and
work experience in design, PR, social media or online marketing
