JOB DESCRIPTION:
Capitol Christian Music Group in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Digital Print Coordinator for their Brentwood Benson Music Publishing Division.
Job Purpose
Coordinate day-to-day functions of Brentwood Benson Music Publishing's (BBMP) digital sheet music production by organizing transcriptions and orchestrations, managing digital print partner relationships, and handling content uploads to BBMP's sheet music ecommerce platform.
Essential Job Functions
• Coordinate the transcription of PVG, lead sheets, and chord charts with outside vendors, as well as orchestral charts when deemed appropriate
• Stay abreast of relevant charts & reports such as AC, CHR, CCLI, and others to select most viable songs for production
• Work in tandem with the Worship Together team to create and upload necessary sheet music for worshiptogether com and other promotion
• With the Director of Marketing, manage all 3rd-party sheet music vendor relationships
• Assist the Director of Marketing in the creation of bundles, promotions, and other relevant digital sheet music sales ideas
• Assist the Senior Editor with music editorial and typesetting duties as needed
• Serve as a crucial member of the creative staff, attending and providing input into editing/proofing sessions, art design meetings, and production update meetings
• Gather and record all metadata for all digital print, managing the creation of UPCs and other pertinent information for internal and 3rd-party use
• Assist 3rd-party vendors in obtaining art files, audio, and other materials
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Desired Skills and Experience
Proficient in:
• Extensive knowledge of music and music theory
• Moderate piano skills preferred for editing
• Music notation software: extensive experience with Finale 2012 or later required; proficiency with Sibelius a plus
• Extremely strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong relational skills
• Working knowledge of choral music, piano music, and vocal/guitar music relative to print music industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Needs to be proactive, extremely organized and problem solution oriented
Education & Experience:
• Music or Music Business degree preferred
• Prior work experience with Finale and/or Sibelius notation software preferred
• Experience writing, arranging, or engraving choral music preferred
