JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Description,
• Deep knowledge of all aspects of online / social marketing as well as the music services and what they provide. (Download stores, streaming services, radio, blogs, etc).
• Help to manage all facets of digital marketing of music priorities reporting to the Sr. Director
of Digital Marketing and Sales while also coordinating with international counterparts and top-level executives.
• Update New Release schedules on a weekly basis for all digital partners.
• Work with the Digital Sales team to align all social media and promotional efforts with key accounts – iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, HD Tracks, etc.
• Expertise in the workings of Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Google , etc. and managing and adapting our content and messaging to all existing and new platforms.
• Manage all consumer-facing digital spaces at both the label and artist level including websites, social media, our weekly newsletter, CRM, and D2C stores to ensure maximum social media outreach on all releases.
• Work with our social media team for all social media efforts and our weekly newsletter.
• Conceptualize and successfully execute social media campaigns to increase fan engagement and CRM numbers then provide the necessary reports on analytics to measure ROI.
• Support concert dates and any special events with comprehensive multimedia campaigns.
• Social Media account set-up coordination and maintenance and overall management for label and artists.
• Coordinate and execute digital advertising plans for all product managers at the label.
• In-house creative producer for online deliverables (ie: online splash pages, print and
online banners) when necessary.
• Project manage the design and build out of websites, landing pages, and other digital tools as necessary.
• Attend artist functions and concerts when needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Music industry experience with an emphasis in marketing
• Knowledge and experience in the ever changing social media landscape
• Expert level working knowledge of facebook, twitter, instatgram, youtube, google , snapchat and the ability to seek out and adapt to the 'new'.
• A general knowledge of all departments within a label, including:
• Digital, publicity, A&R, creative, production and promotion
• Organize, prioritize, and execute a wide range of tasks with heavy workloads and tight deadlines
• Creativity and willingness to think outside the box and be flexible
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability to change, personal effectiveness, the ability to establish quick rapport, excellent communicator, and must have a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including: PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word
• Degree qualified or equivalent
