JOB DESCRIPTION:
Capitol is looking for a Coordinator, Video Production who will support the Video Production Department with production, technical and administrative tasks.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Production Responsibilities:
• Handling all video masters, digital files & footage elements
• Distribute to all master dub houses (Bitmax)
• Log footage for storage
• Oversee digital deliveries to as needed
• Help solicit for video productions: send out secure music on Studio CDN system,
gather lyrics, photos, artist links, and interface with reps and directors
• Oversee the filming and completion of Making Ofs, webisodes, etc. (hire crews,
gather talent releases, give comments on edits, circulate for approvals, quality
control etc.)
• Have awareness of video directors/producers/editors/motion graphics artists/lyric
video creators
• Be able to bring personnel suggestions to the mix
• Liaise directly with finance and marketing managers to regarding project budgets,
product placement, etc.
Technical Responsibilities:
• Managing/Creating streaming, watermarked, confidential preview links of roughs
• Stay across all specs and deliverable requirements for various content
Department Administration:
• Maintain call volume and calendars, department activity planner, expense reports,
& travel schedules
• Handle all accounts payable duties including coding invoices and coordinating with
related departments to get them paid on time
• Book necessary travel arrangements for staff and artists
• Create and maintain department files on individual projects & broad-based initiatives
• Maintain and update internal production schedules and delivery calendar, while
liaising with all label departments on all video asset deliveries
• Liaise with internal departments and external constituencies as needed
• Coordinate and administer departmental budgets
• Directly assist SVP with administrative duties needed
• Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise

Minimum Qualifications:
• Degree qualified (Production, Communications) or equivalent
• 2 years of progressive production administration experience
• Candidate must be tech savvy with proficiencies with both Mac and PC
• Knowledge and understanding of Social Media is required
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, responding to
issues promptly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively to
all levels of employees and management
• Positive attitude and team player with high attention to detail
• Accustomed to meeting deadlines
• High attention to details and follow-through for all tasks is essential
Desirable
• Knowledge of HTML preferred
• Interest in music video production
• Experience in and knowledge of the music industry
• Basic knowledge of digital video files encodes and digital programs
