JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Operations (East Coast based).
Key deliverables:
• Collect sales one-sheets and check compliance for New Release setup grid
• Process and track orders and products for artists to sell on the road or through the website
• Act as administrator for all promotional goods solicitation and ordering
• Coordinate label requested promo orders via DJ Central
• Build internal Play MPE blasts
• Create user accounts for B2B access and troubleshoot any issues with passwords/logins
• Log and track Action Items for internal team
• Assign purchased UPCs to label and deliver monthly report to Central Accounting
• Compile and distribute First Week Breakdowns for high priority releases
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements:
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in an admin/coordinator level position, preferably with a music
or entertainment company
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Knowledge and understanding of the music industry
• Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel
• Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based evolving workload
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness,
and the ability to establish quick rapport
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and effectively follow through under
pressure and/or tight deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
