JOB DESCRIPTION:
A. Job Summary:
Universal Music Group is currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Assistant, Branding and Licensing. The role is located in Santa Monica and will report to the EVP, Branding and Licensing.
B. Job Functions:
• Answer phones and keep ongoing call log
• Maintain a packed and constantly changing schedule
• Process expense reports
• Record minutes during staff meetings
• Pay vendors within Uniport
• Book travel and build comprehensive itineraries for all trips
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of the Executive's obligations in order to proactively
assist and/or anticipate needs
• Respond to changes quickly and proactively alter priorities when necessary
• Coordinate special projects as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of MAC computers including troubleshooting issues and identifying
andsolving problems
• Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong grammar and organizational skills
• Creative and knowledgeable about music
• Committed, willing to learn & flexible
• Ability to effectively work in a high pressure environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Able to Multi-task and have excellent follow-through
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize, organize and establish
administrative procedures
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree qualified or equivalent experience
