JOB DESCRIPTION:
Universal Music Group is currently seeking an Assistant in our Santa Monica, CA office location:
This position will provide administrative support for the Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, as well as for the Director, Business & Legal Affairs in our Global Digital Business group.
Responsibilities:
• Answer phones, schedule meetings and conference calls
• Make travel arrangements and complete travel and expense reports
• Maintain calendars, including departmental events calendar
• Use information provided by executives to create Keynote or Powerpoint presentations
• Draft internal/external communications
• Organize periodic departmental lunches, greet visitors
• Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree
• Highly proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Keynote
• Able to use both PC and Mac computers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, highly organized, ability to multi-task, solution-oriented
• Strong interest in the digital market, familiar with digital music services
• Must have initiative and desire to learn the business
