Universal Music Group is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our New York City office location.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to two Managers of the Universal Music Publishing Group in the areas of Creative/A&R and Creative Administration.
Responsibilities:
Administrative duties for two managers, including but not limited to word processing, data entry, faxing, copying and email correspondence.
Answering phones and directing inquiries appropriately
Filing and file systems development
Prepare Excel spreadsheets
Process invoices
Updating and organizing calendars
Scheduling meetings and song writing sessions
Complete travel and expense reports
Make travel arrangements and restaurant reservations
Other duties as assigned by Supervisors
Job Requirements:
Job Requirements:
Minimum one year administrative experience
Strong administrative skills
Advanced computer experience: Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, Power point
Strong written and verbal communication
Must possess strong attention to detail, organizational and follow up skills
Must have the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Professional phone manner
Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task effectively
Ability to keep information highly confidential
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Basic math skills
Basic knowledge of music publishing desired but not required
College degree preferred
