Universal Music Group is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Santa Monica, CA location.
World renowned entertainment/music company seeks an Administrative Assistant to support head of Strategic Marketing Department. Position reports to one manager in the Strategic Marketing department. The ideal candidate is hard-working, self-motivated, and extremely detail-oriented with a passion for music and marketing.
Responsibilities include:
-Maintain and devise schedules, correspondence, telephones, travel, expenses
-Act as a liaison to high profile individuals in fashion, art, business, and entertainment fields
-Create and devise account lists
-Create high-end, creative PowerPoint presentations
-Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
-Possess 4-year college degree
-2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in advertising or entertainment
-Poised and highly organized
-Excellent writing skills, computer knowledge, and knowledge of fashion, business, art, and entertainment preferred
-Previous sales experience or account coordination experience a plus
-Candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion at all times
-Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
-PC Experience: Internet, MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, Powerpoint
-Ability to work in a detail and deadline oriented environment
