Welcome Host And Receptionist (Temporary)
Description
Job title: Welcome Host & Receptionist (Temporary Contract)
Responsible to: Facilities Manager
Department: Facilities Management
Location of work: Kensington High Street
Main purpose of role
To be the primary welcoming contact for all staff visitors to the building, continually promoting and enhancing the high profile image of Universal Music Group. Support the security team in protection of Universal Music property, staff, and business at all times.
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
• Primary lead role in welcoming all visitors and staff in a professional & expert manner
• Provide immaculate customer service, continually advocating company image & reputation
• Efficient handling of all visitors and staff to minimise time spent & reduce delays to others
• Co-ordinate artists’ arrival and access to studios where applicable
• During events held at the building act as the Key host for guests and visitors if labels/ can’t cover
• Control and management of approved site access to staff, their visitors, and non UM staff to site and car park
• Deal with emergency situations and instances of crowd control in artist visits, or unpleasant visitors during artist visits in a calm and sensible manner
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external employees, suppliers, and customers
• Continually strive to protect Universal Music property, staff & business at all times
• Ensure access control and visitor pass system is fully utilised and maintained, including correct usage of barriers such as prevention of tailgating
• Ad hoc support to the general security function in monitoring & management of CCTV, barrier, intruder, panic & fire alarm systems on site
• Liaison with emergency services when required
• Daily contact with security contract manager regarding all day to day business security matters on site
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the Facilities Manager and Head of Facilities Management
Person Specification
• Excellent customer service & communication skills with a proven ability to deal with people at all levels
• Highly organised with strong administration skill
• Tactful and diplomatic with the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Hard working and enthusiastic
• Experience in a similar role is preferred
