Job Summary:
The Specialist will serve as a full-cycle recruitment professional to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team for UMG in the US. As a member of the TA team, this person will be assigned to a high volume of requisitions for positions of varying functions in a myriad of business units. This role focuses on providing stellar customer service to our internal customers, candidates and the TA team.
Job Functions:
• Key point of contact for all requisitions assigned
• Perform intakes with each hiring manager for each new requisition to confirm written details and garner any additional, relevant information
• Source candidates through the company's ATS, and through additional online sources (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
• Review resumes to ensure candidates are well suited for the role(s)
• Interview candidates via phone and in-person to thoroughly vet the candidates' skills, experience, reasons for leaving previous employers, etc.
• Manage candidates through the hiring process, including assisting them to complete required assessments and/or provide work samples
• Guide hiring managers through the hiring process, and provide consultation when appropriate
• Serve as a champion for UMG, providing excitement to candidates
• Manage the administrative process involved in the recruitment program, including ATS and management reporting
• Perform professional references for finalist candidates
• Oversee the offer process, working directly with the hiring manager, HR representatives and candidates
• Complete the required tasks assigned to the TA team with regards to the employee on-boarding process
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• 5 years of experience in full-cycle, consultative recruitment
• A mix of both in-house and agency experience is preferred
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and HR compliance is required
• Driven to provide stellar customer service internally and externally
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high volume recruitment environment
• Having an empathetic approach when working with hiring managers is key
• The desire to reach goal-driven metrics without losing quality of work product is required
• Ability to adapt to various systems and processes with ease and willingness Education:
• College Degree preferred
