Job Summary: IGA is home to some of the biggest artists in the world including: U2, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and many more. As a leader in the music industry, we are always looking for talented and driven individuals to join our family.
IGA is currently searching to fill a new role with the A&R Administration team. The position will perform a variety of duties, to help gather information and documents required for the release of music by label artists. The candidate for this job will liaise with every department at the label, including Business Affairs, Production, A&R, Marketing, Licensing, etc.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with at least 3 years of record label or management experience, who understands the recording process and the information necessary to release product.
Job Functions:
Responsibilities
include:
• Understanding the Studio Hub platform and effectively communicating and implementing the new creative delivery and business processes
• Work with various departments and external partners in the creative community to train and educate them on the day to day use of Studio Hub system
• Work with A&R and A&R Administration to ensure metadata and contributor information is accurately reported and entered into Studio Hub
• Assist with ensuring that all necessary clearances are obtained for the release of a song and/or video from third party contributors and outside record labels & publishers.
• Coordinate and participate on shared projects with all levels of staff
• Assist with vendor set-ups
• Assist with scanning and/or mailing invoices to accounts payable for processing payment
• Contacting vendors if accounts payable needs additional information to process and pay an invoice

• Knowledge of UMG systems a plus
Experience:
• 3 years Music Industry experience in Business Affairs, Licensing and/or A&R Administration
• Must have familiarity with the recording process
• Must have experience with the information required for the delivery of an album
• Familiarity with recording agreements and other music industry agreements is a plus
• Excellent typing and computer skills, including in Word, Excel, Outlook
Education:
• Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience
