JOB DESCRIPTION:
A. Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for preparing, and reviewing Forecast and Budget requirements for UMG Commercial Services. This position reports to the Manager of Finance and has contact with all levels of management as well as multiple finance and accounting personnel within the Universal Music Group.
B. Job Functions:
• Support the month end close process with Central Accounting
• Collate data for monthly finance narrative templates
• Prepare Monthly Management Financial Deck
• Load Monthly Actuals to Quarterly Forecast Model
• Assist in the preparation and review of the quarterly Forecast and Annual Operating Plan for US50 and NAM96
• Assist in the preparation and review of NAM96 accounting.
• Provide ad hoc reporting, special projects, non-recurring activities as required by Senior Vice President and Sr. Director of Finance
• Support Brand Partnership Accounting
• Track Artist/Project performance in SAP PBC
• Monitor and Update Artist and Project Master Data in R2 as needed
• Support the EXPENSYS reporting process

• Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees at all levels of our Company
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Handle multiple assignments, think independently and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor Degree with a major in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years of financial analysis experience in related field
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex modeling, use of pivot tables and worksheet functions as well as strong PowerPoint and Word skills
• Music / Entertainment industry experience a plus
• HFM/SAP/BI/BW/BPC experience a plus
