Description
Job title: Senior Royalty Accoutant - Polydor
Responsible to: Head of Royalties - Polydor
Department: Royalties
Location of work: Kensington Village
Main Purpose of Role
To prepare accurate royalty accounting for all parties contracted to the Polydor labels, and to provide info to Management and the labels on the same.
Main duties:
• All levels of Royalty Accounting for the Polydor labels (including but not limited to Polydor, Fiction, A&M).
• Quarterly processing of Polydor releases.
• Monthly fee income bookings for Polydor labels.
• Quarterly TV break claiming and booking of overseas claims into Polydor.
• Year end information provision and analysis as required by Management and/or Polydor Finance.
• Monthly processing of VAT invoices payable on the Polydor labels.
• Investigation and resolution of ad hoc queries on the Polydor labels as within job holder's capabilities.
Person Specification
• Excellent levels of numeracy and accuracy in figurework.
• Ability to analyse and interpret legal documents.
• Can deliver under pressure, and can set / meet own goals.
• High level of competency on mainframe and Microsoft packages.
• Must be able to complete all tasks within agreed deadline and apply themselves to this end.
• Extensive Royalties experience is essential.
