Job Summary:
Fame House, a Universal Music Group company, is looking for Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships will report to the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer, and will work with Management, our Strategy and Creative departments to deliver exceptional results for our Brand Partner clients while strengthening Fame House relationships with multiple stakeholders within the clients' and UMG's organizations. You will work with some of the most successful artists, entertainment companies, and brands in the world. Successful candidates will have the
opportunity to grow our Brand Partnerships team from the ground up.
Founded in January 2011, Fame House is an award-winning digital strategy agency with offices in Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles that's built to uniquely serve the needs of the modern music industry. Fame House's early foresight into crafting services around the new opportunities of connecting artists and fans online led them to help establish a new key role within the music ecosystem serving artists alongside labels, management companies, event companies and agents. Fame House is a Universal Music Group company.
Job Functions:
• Work with FH Management, internal and external stakeholders (e.g. UMG Brands) to conceive and achieve marketing
objectives for each partnership:
o Work with Fame House Strategy team members to develop and execute digital marketing and creative strategy around upcoming partnership milestones.
o Develop and execute marketing plans within budget, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, paid media, websites, web stores, and mobile app campaigns.
o Measure and report on campaigns and overall performance of clients' digital and direct-to-fan properties, tracking both ROI and KPIs against client goals.
• Act as primary Fame House point of contact for Brand Partnership accounts (typically 2-4 at a time).
o Project management from concept to execution.
o Ensure all elements of our SOW are fulfilled.
o Ensure Fame House is a visible contributor to all relevant projects and discussions surrounding the partnership.
o Work with key stakeholders (e.g. artist management, UMGB, the brand) to ensure all activations serve each party's needs.
• Support Fame House business development efforts to secure new Brand Partnership business.
• Manage a team of 1-3 members, including Coordinators and/or Digital Marketers for Brand Partnerships:
o Drive professional development of and report to senior management on performance of individual reports, communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling reports; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Keep abreast of the evolving music industry and digital marketing trends, particularly those related to artist and brand partnerships.
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage individuals and teams.
• Ability to comfortably manage multiple priority clients and projects at a time, while staying on deadline and sustaining quality of work.
• Ability to work well with different personalities and stakeholders both internally and externally to produce positive results for clients.
• Ability to quickly and calmly react to changing client needs and deadlines, both internal and external.
• Adept problem solver; ability to come up with inventive solutions on the fly.
• High level of comfort presenting to groups both over the phone and in person.
• Impressive verbal and written abilities - client communication skills are essential.
• Deep knowledge of direct-to-fan marketing tools and tactics including social media, email, mobile, emerging platforms, and associated marketing platforms, particularly within the music industry is a major plus.
• Strong passion for marketing and the music industry.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to apply data insights to marketing strategy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac OS.
Experience:
• 4 years working in a digital marketing position, preferably within the music industry.
• 3 years working with brand partnership clients and managing digital and/or music marketing campaigns.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in music business, business, marketing, or a related field.
