Job Summary:

The job exists to maximize monthly and yearly sales objectives by effectively promoting our artists, products and programs to all assigned accounts while balancing the needs of the consumer and assessing the competitive landscape.
Effectively and efficiently grow our B2B web business by working with CBA indie accounts to train them and encourage them to transition their ordering habits from face to face and phone, to the web and one stop distributors. Grow sales through developing relationships and strategies that equip CCMG to continue to be the market leader in the Christian and Gospel music space.
Job Functions:
• Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly sales objectives by effectively promoting CMG artists, products, and programs.
• Manage all B2B sales coming through the B2B website, as well as any customer service needs that arise.
• Conduct training with CBA indie accounts on how to effectively use the website for their order entry.
• Provide regular and timely feedback to Leadership team concerning trends, account changes, opportunities, product performance, successes and missed opportunities, and other relevant information concerning market conditions.
• Educate and influence assigned accounts on the Christian/Gospel genre consumer and specific CMG artist fans by leveraging consumer research insights.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Working knowledge of key software programs including MS Office suite, digital music and image creation/manipulation and remote PC communications.
• Knowledge: Must have full and complete knowledge and understanding of Digital music distribution. Must also have a working knowledge of proprietary EMI digital systems: Cognos, DCD, GR, PBS.
• Skills: Must have strong analytical skills and be able to assess and creatively solve problems. Must also be able to prepare and give effective written and oral presentations and reports.
• Abilities: Must be excellent communicator, problem solver and quick to adapt to a changing environment.
• Proven time management and project management skills to facilitate meeting deadlines.
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in marketing/sales.
