Job Summary:
Killer Tracks, a leading provider of pre-cleared production music for use in film, television, advertising and Interactive Media is looking for a Sales Operations Manager.
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to make processes more efficient to increase new account revenues and to drive client retention. The objective of this positon is to work with the VP of Sales in making data backed business decisions through analysis of key information across the entire customer lifecycle. This position is responsible for streamlining processes and aligning company resources to improve client satisfaction and to drive revenue growth.
This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
Direct reports include: Sales Support Associates Team and Business Development/Sales Analyst
Job Functions:
• Develop and execute strategies to support the entire client engagement process from prospecting to account management. Provide analysis and measure effectiveness of activities across the customer lifecycle.
• Lead projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the Sales organization
• Maximize Sales Revenue through the implementation of the account distribution strategy. Manage CRM data integrity regarding leads and account assignments, contact information, activities, etc.
• Boost productivity through collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve the overall client experience. This includes Contracting, Billing/Credit, Marketing, Production and Technical teams.
• Provide analytical analysis that drives new sales opportunities through lead generation effectiveness, vertical targeting strategies, territory and market penetration analysis, etc.
• Drive increased renewal and royalty revenue through developing and implementing strategies to improve client usage reporting.
• Increase revenues through managing client licensing compliance processes for the sales team
• Assist in the development and implementation of client retention programs.
• Fully implement the CRM, including database account alignment integrity, monitoring documentation accuracy and training. Identify and communicate needed improvements to the Operations team. Implement training for new feature roll outs.
• Assist in defining and tracking key sales processes and metrics (Forecasting, Sales Productivity, Performance, Client Support activities, Website/Hard Drive feedback, Expense/Travel Reporting, Reviews and Sales Goal planning)
• Evaluate pricing models for effectiveness in driving sales in existing and new market opportunities. Manage pricing strategy implementation across the sales team.
• Assist in the development, execution and management of training for the Sales organization and manage the
onboarding process for new team members.
• Develop and document sales team processes, policies and procedures.
• Communicates key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc. to groups within the Sales
organization.
• Manage the day to day activities of the Sales Associate team and the Business Development and Sales Analyst
Job Requirements:
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent cognitive reasoning, analytical, planning, and process development skills, strong business judgment and high level of initiative
• Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritize deliverables and to respond in a dynamic work environment
• Capacity to work effectively in a sales team environment, builds effective working relationships with key stakeholders, and work independently with limited supervision
• Trusted capability to work with and protect confidential information when required Experience:
• 5 years managerial experience
• 5-7 years of experience in Sales Operations
• Sales experience in a B2B environment
• Extensive experience with administering CRM systems
Education:
• Bachelor's degree
